Imagine the perfect teenage/young adult couple. If they had sex with a third party (separately or altogether) once in a while, would they still call it a relationship in the common sense? If Jonathan admitted he liked Deborah’s cousin Sabrina and if instead of being depressed Deborah, with all her self-confidence, told him he can have sex with Sabrina (Because it’s just sex after all), would it still be that relationship?
What defines a relationship anyway? Love, sex, friendship, freedom, respect, loyalty, holding hands in public, calling each other girlfriend/boyfriend? More importantly what defines love? English language has just one word to state "love", thus it makes the definition broader and broader (In Japanese there's 恋 (koi) and 愛 (ai), in Turkish there's 'ask' and 'sevgi'). But do we really need definitions to be sure/to keep on performing, adjectives to express ourselves?
I believe in “go with the flow”.
By the way, I want to kill those people who marry their spouses because they "trust" him/her, because they "respect" each other. I hate clichés. There's more than that. Find the real reason or have a special reason. It mustn't necessarily be established on those fundamental, holy virtues.
Is it all about morals when it comes to relationships?
