Awhile ago, my mom was telling about how this friend of hers (one of my elementary school friends' mom who lived in Iran for some time) told about the islamic revolution of 1979 in Iran and how things changed drastically over one night. The movie's about that revolution era through a little girl's eye as she grows up.
I could at last watch it today. I'd say Persepolis is simply innovative and genius, educating and entertaining as well.
