It was in July this year, one of those nights in Ruby Room. Jerry had invited me to the stage to improvise for one of his songs. Tuesday nights are more or less the same in Ruby Room. Same bands, same kinda people, it's cozy and friendly. But I could see from the tip of my eye this new group of people sitting at one corner and I figured they were waiting to play. So I grew curious and started waiting for them to play..
When they were playing it was after midnight. And I suppose it was one of the best musical nights Ruby Room had seen. It was pure blues. So random that it was just me and a couple of other friends left in the bar. And we all got petrified looking at these beautiful talented musicians, listening to them playing the blues classics, improvising, playing around with their instruments.. Our jaws hit the floor by the end of their set.
