Since the beginning of the movie it looks like it's about "the girl" fucking with two good friends' brains and seducing both of them. Then it turns out to be about the unbreakable bond of these two boys. The movie could have emphasized it better. We can see the 'punk' guy's life's attractiveness, lack of responsibility, on the other side the family pressure the 'good' guy gets everyday. But it doesn't give a strong feel of the depth of their relationship.
On the other hand, the party scenes don't have much impact.
Shallow teenage movie.
