I don't like poems...

... I read many, in three different languages, from very different authors (Poe, Verlaine etc) . I could never get my self to like them. Because a poem is very personal and cryptic. It sure isn't a means of communication let alone it is read by many people. There's no way to understand the essence of a poem which has a complex structure and symbolic genius. Poems should be considered for something other than the meaning, like form.

I think what I'm trying to say is, poems shouldn't be deciphered by anybody.
