I'm kinda into comedy-dramas for the last couple of days just to kill time in Tokyo before I leave. I watched some good ones but 'It's Kind of a Funny Story' and especially 'Life as We Know It' was really bad. In the former, I didn't understand where the depth of the story came from. The latter is just logically not well established.
'The Family Stone' was good just because of the dinner table gay talk scene.
Charlie Bartlett was so so.
It's been so long.. When will I see a good comedy-drama?
It's out of subject but as for mystery-thriller I couldn't believe how bad '88 Minutes' was. The Ghost Writer was good.
